Replyhello!!! what are nasal consonants Replyvery good ReplyIn words like “four, wall, war” and the like, we get the vowel ɔ in the transcription, but the symbol clearly refers to the open-mid vowel in IPA. There is an overwhelming confusion in the symbols in every course, textbook or website. It looks like somebody just wants to add new symbols or new uses of symbols instead of shedding some light on the matters. Replyi cant find lowercase at both british and american Replyi mean the word lowercase ReplyHello,I need to generate the indefinite article “a” only. But it read as the letter “A”. How can I do it? ReplyYes, the dictionary form for the indefinite article is the same as the letter A. You need to put it in a context, i.e. in front of a word to get the weak form. Or, perhaps all you need is an IPA keyboard, where you can type whatever IPA you want. ReplyI love your app very much!it helped me a lot with speakingas everyone knows is an essential part when learning English ReplyHi, I m interested in you work. Very Nice job. Maybe you could : 1 add an indication of the speed speech with a number 2 modify the url with the text to convert. in this way we can exchange our works easily 3 a link to download the wav file anyway, thanks a lot. ps : at first i try to fund out a software which is able to compare a formal prononciation with my voice. Then it produces a feedback sound whom indicate where the prononciation is incorrect. Do you know this ? ReplyPlease, add public API ReplyWhy doesn’t the tophonetics website not have all the voice variations in Safari like it does in Microsoft? ReplyBecause TTS implementation is provided by the browser you are using. Reply |
